As of May 1st, 2010, OVES has partnered with the Okanagan Research and Innovation Council to provide synergies and share resources to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams by re-locating our offices into the ORIC Kelowna Innovation Centre at 201, 1405 St. Paul Street.  Phone: 250-870-9133

The Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society (OVES) has been established to contribute to the development of "entrepreneurial leaders" in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia through the creation and offering of relevant programs, services and activities.

OVES offers a place to network with other like-minded individuals, to build and grow friendships and alliances with other members, as well as being interested in joining an established network of professionals that are readily available to share information, ideas, experiences and successful journeys.

OUR MISSION

The Society's mission is to create an atmosphere for innovation and creativity by striving to establish an organization of entrepreneurial leaders and to enhance the growth of entrepreneurial ventures throughout the Okanagan through guidance, coaching and mentoring, resources and education.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Any individual with the passion, commitment and drive together with a well-researched idea can become an entrepreneurial leader, seeking their personal best to launch an entrepreneurial venture.

The Society is for anyone who has the passion to awaken their entrepreneurial spirit and wants to surround themselves in a group of like-minded individuals. We are people that are very goal-oriented who are seeking to effect a significant change in our lives and become financially free in this lifetime by being our own boss and taking charge. Even though many of us share this goal, to be a member of our Society you do not have to desire this same aspect for your own life.

We look for people who are interested in launching a new venture or have other entrepreneurial ideas for themselves and wish constructive feedback from their peers; people who love the dream of creating and building their own entrepreneurial venture or who love to be creative and innovative in any aspect of their life and use their leadership and business skills to make a difference in other peoples lives, solve problems, fill a need or make an existing venture better than thought imaginable.
